Community Painting

Service Description

What happens when a room full of people paint the same canvas? This is the first community painting, hence, a free event! In this Spark workshop, we start small with playful drawing and painting exercises that loosen up your hands and quiet the voice that says you can’t. No experience needed. Then, together, we build one big painting. Everyone adds their marks, their colours and their ideas, and piece by piece it turns into something none of us could have made alone. At the end, we divide it up. Everyone goes home with their own piece of the whole: a little part of a painting that lives in many homes. It doesn’t have to be good. It just has to be ours. What to expect: -A warm-up with simple, playful drawing and painting - Guided steps so the group painting comes together, not as chaos - All materials provided, plus snacks/drinks -Your own piece of the finished painting to take home Good for: friends, coworkers, families with kids 12+, or anyone who’d rather not paint alone.
